Synthetic Gene Networks Identification and Control by means of Microfluidic Devices

Thesis Abstract: 

Identification and control of biological networks plays a key role in enabling a deeper understanding of physiological and pathological processes in living systems. In this work I provided theoretical and experimental demonstration of how these results can be achieved in synthetic biology by applying formal principles in control systems theory.
